Häcksax GARDENA PrecisionCut

The GARDENA PrecisionCut Hedge Clippers provide precise, reliable trimming for hedges, shrubs and box trees. Equipped with straight, sharp steel blades with a non-stick coating and a bypass cutting system, these clippers deliver clean cuts and reduced friction for improved cutting performance. The lightweight, fibre-reinforced ErgoTec handles ensure a secure grip and comfortable use, supported by cushioning to minimise wrist and arm strain. The product is backed by a 25-year manufacturer's warranty.

Advantages

The non-stick coated steel blades prevent debris from sticking and reduce friction, which helps maintain cutting efficiency. The straight, sharp blades and bypass cutting action produce clean, accurate cuts. ErgoTec handles made of fibre-reinforced plastic combine low weight with a firm grip, while integrated cushioning lowers stress on wrists and arms during prolonged use. The shears' Z-shape allows shaping of box trees into spherical or spiral forms.

Suitable for

• Trimming hedges and boundary shrubs
• Shaping box trees into spheres or spirals
• Detailed pruning of ornamental shrubs
• Regular garden maintenance and hedge care

How to use

Hold the clippers by the ErgoTec handles with a firm but comfortable grip. Make cuts using smooth, controlled motions to let the bypass blades slice cleanly through branches and shoots. For shaping box trees, use the Z-shape of the shears to follow the desired spherical or spiral contour. Remove larger branches with appropriate pruning tools before using these clippers to avoid damaging the blades.

Recommendations

Regularly clean the blades after use and wipe off sap or debris to preserve the non-stick coating. Sharpen or service the blades as needed and store the clippers in a dry place. For thicker branches beyond the clippers' capacity, use dedicated pruning tools to maintain optimal cutting performance and prolong tool life.
