How to use

Connect the tuck-away A–B USB cable from the IOGEAR GUH285W6 to an available USB port on your computer. Attach up to four USB devices to the side-panel ports. The hub supports plug-and-play operation on compatible operating systems; devices should be recognised automatically. Use the LEDs to verify power and activity status. For externally powered devices that require more current than the hub provides, connect devices to a powered USB port or use a self-powered hub solution.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid connecting multiple high-current devices (such as external hard drives that draw significant power) simultaneously without an external power source. If you need to run power-hungry peripherals, consider a powered USB hub or connect those devices directly to the computer's powered USB ports.
