GPU-vattenblock Alphacool Core GeForce RTX 5080 ARGB med backplate

The Alphacool Core GeForce RTX 5080 ARGB with backplate is a GPU water block engineered to provide direct liquid cooling for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics cards. It integrates addressable RGB lighting and a matching backplate to manage temperatures across the GPU die and supporting components. The block is intended for installation in custom closed-loop or open-loop PC liquid cooling systems, reducing thermal load and acoustic output compared with air cooling under sustained high loads.

Advantages

This water block cools the GPU core and adjacent components directly through an optimised coldplate design, improving heat transfer to the liquid coolant. Integrated addressable RGB lighting allows synchronized illumination with compatible controllers and motherboard software without additional external fixtures. The included backplate reinforces the PCB and contributes to passive heat dissipation from the rear side. The construction uses corrosion-resistant materials and precision machining to ensure consistent contact and reliable flow performance in custom loops.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops targeting GeForce RTX 5080 cards
• High-performance gaming systems seeking lower GPU temperatures and reduced fan noise
• Workstation builds that require sustained thermal headroom for GPU compute tasks
• Enthusiast builds requiring integrated ARGB lighting and a full-coverage cooling solution

Key specifications

• Compatibility: full-coverage cooling for GeForce RTX 5080 GPU core and surrounding components
• Cooling method: liquid cooling coldplate designed for direct contact with GPU die
• Lighting: addressable RGB (ARGB) integrated into the block and backplate
• Material features: corrosion-resistant metals and precision-machined contact surfaces
• Mounting: full-coverage bracket and standoffs included for secure attachment to the graphics card PCB
• Fluid ports: G1/4 compatible threading for standard liquid cooling fittings

How to use

Install the water block by first preparing the graphics card: remove the original cooler and clean thermal interfaces. Place thermal pads and thermal paste as required to ensure contact between the coldplate and memory/VRM components and the GPU die. Mount the water block using the provided bracket and screws, ensuring even pressure across the contact surface. Connect the ARGB cable to a compatible addressable RGB header or controller. Integrate the block into your loop using G1/4 fittings and tubing, then fill, leak-test, and run the cooling loop according to standard liquid-cooling procedures.

Recommendations

Use only approved coolant mixtures and maintain regular loop servicing. Verify mechanical compatibility with your specific RTX 5080 card revision before installation and follow manufacturer torque guidelines when fastening screws. Ensure ARGB controller compatibility if synchronised lighting is required.
