Gedore 2297086 kombinationsnyckel

The Gedore 2297086 combination wrench features the same size on both ends with a flat, UD-profile design and a hollow shaft for comfortable handling. It is hot-forged from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3) and finished with matt chrome plating. The jaws are precisely ground to the spanner size, and the tool incorporates a locking insert and pawl treated with manganese-phosphate to reduce glare and improve wear resistance. Working angles vary by size: 7° for 8–15 mm, 6° for 16–27 mm, and 5° for 30–36 mm. The wrench delivers high torque transfer and uses a warp-resistant geometry with a double T-girder effect. Combined with adaptor 7 RA or 7 RB (sold separately), the 7 R spanner can be used as a (bit) ratchet. European patent applied.

Advantages

The wrench offers high torque transfer and precise jaw fit to the spanner size, while the hollow profile and ergonomically considered geometry improve handling and resist warping under load. Durable materials and treatments—31CrV3 vanadium steel, matt chrome plating, and manganese-phosphated locking components—enhance longevity and corrosion resistance. The design integrates proven Gedore features: classic no. 6 jaws, stable hollow shaft of no. 7, and the refined U-20 ratchet mechanism.

How to use

Select the appropriate size for the fastener and engage the jaws fully to ensure correct seat. Use the ratcheting action for quick loosening or tightening by operating the wrench in the intended direction; for ratchet functionality with bits, attach adaptor 7 RA or 7 RB (ordered separately) and secure it before use. Apply steady force aligned with the handle and avoid sudden impacts. After use, clean off debris and store the wrench in a dry place.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the Gedore 2297086 with the compatible adaptors 7 RA or 7 RB when bit-ratcheting is required, and perform routine inspection of the jaws and pawl for wear. Do not exceed tool-specific torque limits and avoid using the wrench as a hammer or pry bar.
