FPC-flatkabel DeLOCK USB Type-C till VGA 86730

The DeLOCK FPC Flat Ribbon Cable USB Type-C to VGA (model 86730) allows a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 equipped PC, laptop or tablet to connect to a VGA monitor or projector. The source device must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode). The cable is 13 cm long and combines a compact form factor with a robust design featuring a flexible printed circuit (FPC) instead of conventional copper wires.

Advantages

The FPC construction makes the cable extremely flexible while maintaining mechanical strength, reducing strain on connectors and easing routing in tight spaces. Its short length and flat ribbon design improve portability and minimise cable clutter. The adapter provides a straightforward plug-and-play solution for transmitting video from USB Type-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports that support DP Alt Mode to VGA displays.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or tablets with USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 (DP Alt Mode) to VGA monitors or projectors
• Presentations in meeting rooms that use VGA projectors
• Temporary workstation setups where a compact, flexible cable is needed

The connection is passive for video conversion and generally requires no drivers; configure the display settings on your host device as needed (resolution, mirrored/extended desktop).

Recommendations

For stable video output, use the cable for short runs (the 13 cm length is intended for close connections). Verify that the host device supports DP Alt Mode and set the display resolution in the operating system to match the VGA display capabilities. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors to prolong cable life.
