Fotopapper Barva Mate A230-022, A4, 230 g/m², matt

Barva Mate A230-022 is A4-format photo paper with a matte surface and a paper weight of 230 g/m² designed for inkjet printing. The matte coating reduces glare and reflections while preserving natural-looking colors and fine detail. Paper feed is reliable in standard A4 printers, making it suitable for proofing, brochures and document images where a non-reflective finish is required.

Advantages

The matte surface delivers low-glare prints with accurate color reproduction and clear detail without the shine of glossy papers. The 230 g/m² weight provides a substantial feel and improved durability compared with standard office paper, offering better handling and less curl after printing. Compatibility with inkjet printers and stable feed characteristics reduce misfeeds and support consistent results across print jobs.

Suitable for

• Photo proofs and test prints
• Marketing brochures and printed leaflets with subdued finish
• Document images and reports that require a non-reflective surface
• Presentations, portfolios and handouts where a matte look is preferred

Key specifications

• Format: A4 (210 × 297 mm)
• Surface: matte coating for reduced glare
• Weight: 230 g/m²
• Printer compatibility: inkjet printers (standard A4 trays)
• Finish: non-reflective, natural color rendering

How to use

Load the sheets into the A4 paper tray of an inkjet printer according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions, matte side up if indicated. Select the appropriate media type or paper weight setting in the printer driver (matte/photo paper or 230 g/m²) to optimise ink deposition and drying. Allow printed sheets to dry flat for a few minutes before stacking or trimming to avoid smudging and ensure consistent color. For best color accuracy, use printer colour management or ICC profiles when available.

Recommendations

Store unopened packs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Use within the manufacturer’s recommended period for optimal print quality. When printing large batches, perform a test print first to confirm colour and printer settings.
