Flatbäddsscanner Avision FB10

The Avision FB10 is a compact A4 flatbed scanner designed for home and office use. It offers an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 DPI, 48-bit input color depth and a maximum scan area of 216 x 297 mm. The scanner uses a CIS sensor with LED illumination, connects via USB 2.0 and accepts items up to 4.7 cm thick, making it suitable for scanning documents, photos, ID cards and other flat or slightly bulky originals.

Advantages

The FB10 features a liftable cover that helps flatten thick or bulky items for more even lighting and improved image quality. LED illumination requires no warm-up time and enables fast scanning — an A4 page can be scanned in about 9 seconds. Power is supplied via the USB cable, eliminating the need for an external power adapter. The included TWAIN driver provides image enhancement tools such as auto crop and deskew, color detection and despeckling. The scanner also supports automatic multiple-image cropping so you can place several originals on the platen and obtain separate scanned images in a single pass.

Suitable for

• Scanning A4 documents and letters
• Scanning ID cards, business cards and small documents
• Occasional scanning of bound or slightly bulky items up to 4.7 cm thick

How to use

Connect the Avision FB10 to a computer using the supplied USB 2.0 cable; no external power adapter is required. Place the original face down on the glass platen and, if scanning thick or bulky items, lift the cover to accommodate and gently flatten the item for better contact and even lighting. Launch your scanning application or the TWAIN driver, choose the desired resolution and color settings, then preview and start the scan. Use the driver’s image enhancement tools (auto crop/deskew, color detection, despeckling) as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, clean the glass platen before scanning and arrange multiple small originals with a small gap between them to ensure accurate multiple-image cropping. Use the TWAIN driver settings to adjust resolution and color depth according to the intended use (archival copies vs. on-screen viewing).
