Flashminne Sony 960 GB CFexpress Type-A CEAG960T

Ultra-high-speed storage for demanding creators

Our latest CFexpress Type A cards maximize the capabilities of Sony’s cameras and the latest image processing engines that they employ. These compact cards are a must-have for creators seeking higher levels of performance, dependability, and creative potential.

CFexpress Type A G Series with high-capacity lineup

The CFexpress Type A G Series lineup has capacity up to 1920 GB, for long video shoots and high-speed still image bursts. The 1920 GB (CEA-G1920T) and the 960 GB (CEA-G960T) cards support the CFexpress 4 standard1, with read speeds of up to 1800 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1700 MB/s. Built tough for pro use, they offer 5x the drop strength and 10x the bend resistance of the CFexpress Type A standard3, along with dust and moisture resistance.

Extraordinary response speed

The 1920 GB (CEA-G1920T) and the 960 GB (CEA-G960T) cards use advanced flash memory control technology to deliver write speeds of up to 1700 MB/s and read speeds of up to 1800 MB/s, reducing data transfer wait times when used with the optional MRW-G3 card reader.

Dependable videography

Sony's CFexpress Type A cards are optimized for continuous, high-bandwidth data writing, making them ideal for professional high-bitrate video recording, such as 4K 120p capture, where dependability is critical. They also carry the VPG (Video Performance Guarantee) 400 certification for extra reassurance and video recording stability.

Faster workflows with our CFexpress Type A card reader

Optimized for Sony's CFexpress Type A memory cards, the optional MRW-G3 card reader lets you transfer data via USB 40Gbps interface and take full advantage of high-speed backups and more efficient workflows.

High-capacity for long recording and speed

With capacity up to 1920 GB (CEA-G1920T), you can shoot confidently and without worrying about space. This is ideal for long 4K video sessions or high-speed still bursts in action scenes.

High speed performance

The 1920 GB (CEA-G1920T) and the 960 GB (CEA-G960T) cards both support the latest CFexpress 4 standard, offering read speeds of up to 1800 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1700 MB/s – up to 2.4 times faster than previous models1. The smaller capacity cards still offer impressive read speeds of up to 800 MB/s and write speeds of up to 700 MB/s, making them ideal for all but the most demanding workflows, and helping streamline and boost productivity in the field and at your desk.

For the roughest places

With a tough design, CFexpress Type B memory cards offer superior strength more than 3x greater than the CFexpress Type B standard of bending, with additional rigidity tested to 70 newtons of force, and can take falls up to five metres high.

For the toughest conditions

You can rely on CFexpress Type B memory cards to work faultlessly in extreme temperature, X-rays, electrostatic and intensive UV sunlight.

How to use

Insert the CFexpress Type A card into a compatible camera or card reader following the device manufacturer’s instructions. Use the camera menu to format the card before first use to ensure optimal file system compatibility and performance. During recording, monitor available capacity and remaining battery to avoid interrupted captures. For file transfer, connect a compatible CFexpress Type A reader to your computer and copy files using your preferred file management or editing software.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, format the card in-camera periodically rather than on a computer, avoid exposing the card to extreme temperatures for prolonged periods, and back up critical footage to multiple storage locations after each shoot.
