Fiberoptisk patchkabel Digitus DK-2532-05

The Digitus Fiber Optic Patch Cord DK-2532-05 is a 5 m multimode duplex cable with LC to SC connectors and OM2 50/125 µm fiber. Designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission, it supports full-duplex connections commonly used in data centers, networks and telecommunication installations.

Advantages

This LC–SC multimode patch cord offers standardized connectors and OM2 multimode fiber for consistent signal quality over short to medium distances. The duplex configuration enables simultaneous transmit and receive channels, and the 5 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections. Manufactured by DIGITUS to industry standards, the cable is suitable for professional network environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and transceivers in data centers
• LAN backbone and horizontal cabling within buildings
• Telecommunication racks and server connections

How to use

Route the patch cord between the LC and SC ports, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion. Align and insert the LC connector into the device or adapter and the SC connector into the corresponding panel or transceiver until secure. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress on the cable; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer when installing in racks or conduit.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean fiber connectors with appropriate cleaning tools before each connection. Use OM2 multimode patch cords for short to medium distance links and verify compatibility of transceivers and equipment ports (LC/SC) to ensure proper operation.
