Fiberoptisk kabel DeLOCK LC till SC multimode OM3 2 m

The DeLOCK Optical Fibre Cable LC to SC Multi-mode OM3, 2 m, is designed for connecting networking devices such as switches and media converters. The cable has a 50 µm core diameter and supports full-duplex data transmission, making it suitable for high-speed network links in structured cabling and data centre environments.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode fibre cable provides a standardized 50 µm core for short to medium range high-speed connections. The LC to SC connector combination allows compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment and media converters. Full-duplex support enables simultaneous bidirectional communication, and the 2 m length is convenient for rack and patch-panel connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to media converters
• Patch connections in server rooms and data centres
• Short- to medium-distance multimode links (OM3)

How to use

Insert the LC connector into the LC port of the device and the SC connector into the corresponding SC port of the other device or media converter. Ensure connectors are clean and aligned before making the connection to avoid signal loss. Route the cable to prevent sharp bends and secure it to avoid strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep connector end-faces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools and avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius. Use this OM3 multimode cable for short to medium distance links and in environments where LC and SC interfaces are required.
