Fiberoptisk kabel DeLOCK 88089 LC duplex till LC duplex OM4 3 m

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Cable LC Duplex to LC Duplex OM4 (3 m) is a multimode fiber patch cable intended for reliable data transmission between network devices such as switches and media converters. It has LC duplex connectors on both ends, a 50 µm core diameter and is designed for full duplex operation in high-speed networking environments. The cable is violet in colour and measures 3 metres in length.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode construction provides improved bandwidth and reduced attenuation for short- to mid-range links. LC duplex connectors on both ends enable full duplex communication and easy mating with standard LC ports. Angled connector boots permit the connector to be oriented to the right, left, up or down, allowing space-saving installations in confined or densely populated patch panels.

How to use

Align each LC connector with the corresponding LC port and push until it clicks into place to establish a secure connection. Orient the angled boots as required to avoid obstruction and save space in racks or patch panels. For removal, depress the connector latch and pull straight out. Use appropriate cable management to prevent tight bends and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fiber.

Recommendations

Handle connectors by the boot, keep endfaces clean and cap connectors when not in use. Avoid excessive bending or tension; follow site-specific installation practices for fibre optic cabling to maintain signal integrity and service life.
