Fiberoptisk adapter InLine 89989P LC/LC SM grön

The InLine® fibre optic coupler is a green Duplex LC/LC adapter designed for single-mode (SM) fibres. It accepts female LC connectors and is intended for use in data centres, telecommunications systems and other high-performance networks that use single-mode fibre links. The adapter incorporates a ceramic sleeve and a stable metal holder to provide durable, low-loss connections. Made in Germany and supplied in a polybag, this compact adapter supports reliable high-speed data transmission.

Advantages

The ceramic sleeve improves alignment and wear resistance for repeated mating cycles, while the metal holder increases mechanical stability and service life. The Duplex LC/LC format enables two independent channels in a compact footprint, and the green colour identifies the adapter as suitable for single-mode applications. Its design minimizes insertion loss and contributes to consistent optical performance.

Suitable for

• Data centre patch panels and fibre distribution frames
• Telecommunications racks and equipment
• High-performance single-mode network links
• FTTx and long-distance optical connections

How to use

Ensure both fibre ends and connectors are clean before insertion. Align and insert the female LC connectors into the duplex LC/LC adapter until they click into place. Verify optical continuity and signal levels with appropriate test equipment. To disconnect, press the LC connector latch and gently withdraw the connector. Maintain dust caps on unused ports to protect the ceramic sleeve.

Recommendations

Store the adapter in a clean, dry environment and avoid mechanical stress on the housing and connectors. Clean connectors with proper fibre cleaning tools before each mating cycle and inspect for damage to ensure consistent optical performance.
