Fiberoptikadapter ShiverPeaks BS69105

The ShiverPeaks BS69105 fibre optic adapter is a compact connector component designed to provide a reliable interface between fibre optic cables and compatible devices. Constructed from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), this single-unit adapter emphasizes durability and dimensional stability for routine installations and maintenance tasks where a robust physical housing is required.

Advantages

The ABS construction offers resistance to impact and environmental wear while maintaining a consistent fit with standard fibre optic terminations. Its compact form factor enables simple integration into patch panels, wall plates, or custom enclosures without occupying significant space. Supplied as an individual unit, the adapter is suitable for targeted replacements or incremental upgrades in existing fibre deployments.

Suitable for

• Repairing or replacing a single fibre optic connection point
• Small-scale residential or office fibre installations
• Use inside patch panels, wall outlets, or custom mounting brackets
• Field technicians carrying spare parts for service visits

Key specifications

• Material: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
• Pack quantity: sold as a single unit
• Form factor: compact adapter housing suitable for standard fibre terminations
• Compatibility: designed for use with compatible fibre optic connectors and housings

How to use

Install the adapter by aligning it with the corresponding fibre connector or mounting aperture and secure it into the panel or outlet according to the mechanical retention method provided by your enclosure. Ensure fibre ends are clean and properly prepared before mating to avoid signal loss or contamination. For replacements, disconnect power to active equipment where applicable and handle fibres using appropriate safety and electrostatic precautions.

Recommendations

To maintain connection quality, clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before installation and avoid excessive bending of fibres near the adapter. Store unused units in a dry, dust-free environment to preserve the ABS housing and connection interfaces.
