Fiberkabel DeLOCK 85134 3 m LC rosa

The DeLOCK 85134 is a 3-meter OM4 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers and high-performance computing environments. It features a 50 µm core diameter and two conductors inside a single sheath and boot to save space. The pink jacket provides easy visual identification while the extractor lever facilitates unplugging from high-density panels.

Advantages

The cable combines OM4 performance with LC-to-LC connectivity for reliable multimode transmission over short to medium distances. A shared sheath and boot reduce cable bulk in dense installations. The integrated extractor lever simplifies removal from tightly packed ports, and the robust construction supports long-term use in professional networking setups.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects
• Connections between NICs with SFP modules and switches
• Media converters and patch panels
• High-performance computing clusters

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust before connecting. Align the LC connectors with the corresponding ports and insert until they click. Use the extractor lever when removing the cable from high-density panels to avoid strain on the connectors. Route the cable along appropriate cable management paths to prevent sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for OM4 multimode fibre.

Recommendations

Store and install the fibre cable in a clean environment, avoid contaminating connector endfaces, and use fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Maintain gentle bends and secure routing to preserve transmission performance.
