Fiberkabel DeLOCK 3 m LC-LC

The DeLOCK 3m LC-LC fibre optic cable is designed for reliable high-speed data transmission between networking components. It uses OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and LC connectors on both ends, enabling full-duplex links for connections such as a NIC with an SFP module to a switch or a media converter. The 3 metre length provides flexibility for typical rack, cabinet or desktop installations.

Advantages

Single-mode OS2 fibre ensures low attenuation over longer distances. LC-LC connectors offer compact, secure plug-in connections with consistent optical performance. The full-duplex wiring supports simultaneous send and receive channels. The standardized LC connector type and 3 m length make the cable compatible with many networking devices and easy to route in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting an SFP-equipped NIC to a network switch
• Linking media converters to switches or routers
• Patch connections in server cabinets and telecom racks

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK

• EAN: 4043619846078
• Cable type: Fibre optic, single-mode (OS2)
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Duplex: Full duplex
• Length: 3 m

How to use

Identify the LC ports on the networking devices, remove protective caps from the connectors and insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC socket until it clicks. Ensure both ends are clean before connecting to avoid signal loss. Route the cable to avoid tight bends; respect the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for fibre to maintain signal integrity. Use cable management in racks or trays to prevent mechanical stress.

Recommendations

Before installation, clean connector end faces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools and inspect with a fibre scope if available. Avoid excessive bending and tensile stress; store spare cable with gentle coils to prevent microbends that can degrade performance.
