F-kabelkontakt Televes FPS51

The Televes FPS51 wire connector is a single F-type connector with a metallic finish and a 6.9 mm outer diameter. Designed to join coaxial cable terminations reliably, this connector provides a secure mechanical and electrical connection for audio and video signal distribution. Supplied as a single unit per pack, the FPS51 is suitable for small installations, repairs, or replacement of worn connectors in household and professional AV systems.

Advantages

The metallic construction ensures robust mechanical strength and consistent contact with F-type fittings. The 6.9 mm outer diameter is compatible with standard F-type coaxial cable assemblies, allowing straightforward fitting and stable signal transfer. Packaged singly, the connector is convenient for targeted maintenance or one-off installations without excess inventory.

How to use

Strip the coaxial cable to the recommended lengths for the chosen F-type connector, fold the braid back over the jacket, and insert the cable until the dielectric meets the connector body. Screw the connector onto the mating F socket until hand-tight and, if required, use a suitable tightening tool to secure a firm mechanical contact without over-torquing. Verify signal continuity and picture/sound quality after installation.

Recommendations

Use the connector with properly prepared coaxial cable and avoid excessive mechanical stress on the connection. For outdoor or high-humidity installations, combine with appropriate sealing methods (weatherproof boots or tape) to prevent corrosion. Check compatibility with your cable diameter and test the connection after installation to ensure signal integrity.
