Equip Cat.6A skärmad modulär inline-koppling

The equip® Inline Coupler is a compact, shielded connector with two RJ45 jacks designed to join two Ethernet cables. It supports Cat.6A cabling and includes gold flash contacts to maintain reliable, low-error data transmission in shielded network installations.

Advantages

The shielded metal housing reduces electromagnetic interference, while the gold flash contacts ensure stable electrical contact and corrosion resistance. Its compact silver design allows discreet installation in different network setups without adding noticeable bulk.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining two Ethernet (RJ45) cables
• Cat.6A high-speed network connections
• Shielded network environments requiring reduced interference
• Temporary or permanent cable repair and simple patching

How to use

Insert the RJ45 plug of the first cable into one coupler jack and the RJ45 plug of the second cable into the opposite jack until both clicks engage. Ensure both cables are fully seated and any cable shielding is properly connected to maintain the continuity of the shield. Verify network connectivity and performance after installation.

Recommendations

Use the inline coupler in shielded cabling systems and avoid installing it in locations exposed to excessive moisture or mechanical stress. For optimal Cat.6A performance, keep total cable lengths within standard channel limits and prefer couplers only when necessary to minimize signal reflections.
