Enhetsfront DeLOCK 47194

The DeLOCK 47194 drive bay panel is a metal mobile rack designed to install one 2.5” SATA hard drive into a 3.5” bay of a desktop PC. It supports SATA I and SATA II drives and features Hot Swap capability so a drive can be exchanged while the system is running. The unit includes mounting holes for an optional HDD fan and is OS independent, requiring no driver installation.

Advantages

The mobile rack provides a compact, durable solution for adding a 2.5” SATA drive to a standard 3.5” bay. With Hot Swap support and SATA I/II compatibility it enables fast, tool-free drive exchange during operation. The metal construction and provisions for an optional fan help maintain drive cooling and long-term reliability, while driver-free operation ensures broad compatibility.

Suitable for

• Adding a 2.5” SATA HDD or SSD to a desktop PC with a 3.5” bay
• Systems requiring frequent drive swaps or maintenance (Hot Swap)
• Users who need OS-independent, driver-free installation

Key specifications

• Form factor: installs in 3.5” drive bay
• Supported drives: 1 × 2.5” SATA HDD/SSD
• SATA standard: SATA I or SATA II
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 3 Gbit/s
• Features: Hot Swap, optional HDD fan mounting holes
• Compatibility: OS independent, no driver required

How to use

Mount the DeLOCK 47194 into an available 3.5” bay in your desktop case using the appropriate screws. Insert a 2.5” SATA drive into the mobile rack and connect the internal SATA power and data cables. If needed, attach an optional HDD fan to the provided mounting holes on the bottom side. When the system supports Hot Swap, you can safely remove or replace the drive during operation following your operating system’s safe removal procedure.

Recommendations

For best results, use compatible 2.5” SATA I/II drives and ensure proper airflow in the PC case. When swapping drives, follow the operating system’s hot-swap or safe-eject procedure to prevent data loss. Consider installing an HDD fan if your drives run hot or if the case has limited airflow.
