EMI-avskärmningsflätslang DeLOCK 20846

The DeLOCK EMI Shielding braided sleeve 20846 provides electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) protection and cable bundling in one. Made of a copper protective sheath combined with polyester multifilament fabric, this 1 m long, 20 mm diameter sleeve shields cables and devices from electromagnetic interferences while offering mechanical protection and heat resistance. A zipper fastener allows opening and closing the sleeve for easy insertion or removal of cables and tubes.

Advantages

The copper protective sheath ensures effective EMI shielding for network, measurement and machine applications. The multifilament polyester structure gives high abrasion resistance and resistance to weathering and heat. The integrated zip enables repeated access to the enclosed cables without damaging the sleeve.

Suitable for

• EMI/EMC protection of signal and power cables
• Bundling and routing of exposed cables in machines and control cabinets
• Shielding of measuring devices and network installations
• Temporary or permanent cable protection where heat and abrasion resistance are required

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Manufacturer part number (MPN): 20846
• EAN: 4043619208463
• Length: 1 m
• Diameter: 20 mm (inner diameter approx. 2 cm)
• Material: copper protective sheath + polyester multifilament
• Features: EMI shielding, abrasion resistant, heat resistant, zipper closure

How to use

Open the braided sleeve using the zip, position the cables or tubes inside and close the zip to secure them. For multiple cables, arrange and bundle them before inserting into the sleeve to ensure an even fit. Ensure the copper sheath makes appropriate contact with system grounding where EMI suppression requires grounding.

Recommendations

For optimal EMI performance, install the sleeve so the copper sheath is continuous along the cable run and, if necessary, connect the sleeve ends to an appropriate ground point. Avoid sharp bends and excessive compression that could damage the braid or reduce shielding effectiveness.
