Dörr-/fönstersensor InLine 40152

Direct WiFi integration without a separate gateway:The sensor connects directly to the existing network via 2.4 GHz WiFi, enabling quick integration into existing smart home structures.
Flexible automation and scenario control:Door and window contacts can be specifically integrated into individually defined processes and trigger configurable actions when the status changes.
Reliable status monitoring in real time:The integrated magnetic contact precisely detects opening and closing processes and immediately transmits the status to the Smart Life app.
High energy efficiency with long battery life:Low standby consumption enables a service life of up to 5 years in standby mode and reduces maintenance costs.
Compact design for flexible installation:The slim sensor unit and separate magnet enable discreet installation on doors, windows or housings and can be integrated in a space-saving manner.

The InLine® Smart WiFi door/window sensor is a compact contact signal transmitter for integration into existing WiFi-based smart home environments. The connection is made directly via WiFi 2.4 gigahertz in accordance with the IEEE802.11b/g/n standard. No additional bridge or separate gateway is required.
The sensor reacts to changes in the magnetic contact between the sensor unit and the magnet module. Opening or closing processes are detected immediately and visualised in the Smart Life app. This allows automated scenarios to be configured, for example to activate additional components or to monitor the status of defined areas.
Thanks to support for voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, the sensor can be integrated into voice-controlled smart home routines. The compact design allows for discreet installation on doors, windows or cabinet elements.
The low energy consumption of 13µA in standby mode contributes to a long battery life. With an average of 7 activations per day, the service life is up to 2 years. This reduces maintenance cycles and increases operational reliability.

How to use

Mount the sensor body and the magnetic contact on the door or window and the corresponding frame so the two parts align when closed. Insert the CR2 battery following the polarity markings. Add the device to your InLine WiFi Smart Home network using the Smart Life app and follow the in-app pairing instructions. Once paired, configure desired automatisms or scenarios in the app to define actions triggered by the contact opening or closing.

Recommendations

Place the sensor where the main body and magnet remain aligned when the door or window is closed. Check battery status periodically and avoid installing the sensor where heavy moisture or extreme temperatures could affect performance.
