Diskmatris Synology DX517

The Disk Array Synology DX517 is a 5-bay expansion unit for Synology DiskStation systems, supporting both 3.5" and 2.5" SATA HDDs and SSDs. Designed for desktop use, the DX517 enables on-the-fly capacity expansion or a dedicated local backup volume, and connects to the host NAS to increase available storage without replacing existing drives.

Its hot-swappable, screwless drive trays simplify drive installation and replacement without powering down the system. The unit supports both HDD and SSD form factors, allowing flexible configurations for performance or capacity needs.

Suitable for

• Small and medium businesses needing additional NAS storage capacity
