DeLOCK 67174 intern USB Type-E-adapter USB 3.0 19-pin uttag

The DeLOCK 67174 Internal USB Type-E Adapter provides an internal connection by converting a standard 19-pin internal USB 3.0 pin header (male) into an internal USB Type-E key A female connector. It supports USB 3.0 data transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s and is compact with dimensions of 29 mm (W) x 28 mm (D) x 10 mm (H). The adapter is suitable for adding an internal USB Type-A or Type-C connection when paired with the appropriate cable.

Advantages

The adapter enables flexible internal connections by converting the motherboard’s USB 3.0 19-pin header to a Type-E key A female port, allowing connection of various cables to provide either a USB Type-A or USB Type-C interface. It supports USB 3.0 speeds up to 5 Gbit/s and is produced in a small form factor that fits into constrained internal spaces. The product is available in a colour combination of black, blue and grey to match system interiors.

Suitable for

• Internal PC builds requiring an internal USB Type-A or Type-C port
• Connecting front-panel or internal device cables to a motherboard USB 3.0 header
• System upgrades where an internal adapter is needed to change connector type

How to use

Connect the adapter’s male side to the motherboard’s internal USB 3.0 19-pin header. Attach the required internal cable (for example, a cable terminating in USB Type-A or USB Type-C) to the Type-E key A female connector of the adapter. Ensure correct orientation of the 19-pin header during insertion and secure any cable routing to avoid strain. The adapter is intended for internal use only.

Recommendations

Use compatible internal cables designed for USB 3.0 to maintain the specified 5 Gbit/s transfer speeds. Install the adapter in a powered-off system and avoid excessive bending or pulling on connected cables to prevent contact damage.
