GFS adapterplatta DSM04XX

For 2G DSM owners chasing a larger throttle body, the stock intake manifold’s narrow opening is the usual bottleneck. The DATALOGIC GFS Adapter Plate DSM04XX removes that restriction by providing a precision-machined interface between the factory 2G DSM intake manifold and popular aftermarket throttle bodies such as the Q45 or Mustang 5.0 style. CNC-cut from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, this adapter plate delivers a port-matched transition that smooths airflow and unlocks the full potential of your upgraded induction system. Unlike universal spacers, this plate is application-specific for the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, and Plymouth Laser (1995–1999) with the 4G63T engine, ensuring a direct bolt-on fit with no permanent modifications.

Highlights

• Adapts stock 2G DSM intake manifold to larger aftermarket throttle bodies (Q45, Mustang 5.0 style, etc.)
• CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum for high strength and corrosion resistance
• Port-matched design optimizes flow transition, improving horsepower and throttle response
• Direct bolt-on installation with included mounting hardware and composite gaskets
• 0.5-inch (12.7 mm) thick plate provides a rigid, leak-free mounting surface

In daily use

Installation is straightforward: remove the factory throttle body, position the adapter plate on the intake manifold with the supplied gasket, and bolt the larger throttle body to the plate using the included hardware. The raw machined aluminum finish blends seamlessly with performance engine bays, and the composite gaskets ensure a reliable seal under boost. The plate’s thickness and precise port matching eliminate turbulence at the manifold inlet, translating to crisper throttle response and measurable gains in airflow. Whether you’re building a street cruiser or a track-focused DSM, this adapter plate is a proven foundation for high-flow induction setups.
