Metabo Aluminium Cut Professional cirkelsågblad 160 x 20 x 1,2 mm, 48 tänder (628288000)

The Metabo 628288000 16 cm circular saw blade is designed for cutting aluminum with a 16 cm diameter and a 2 cm bore. Engineered for compatibility with portable and bench saws that accept a 16 cm blade and 20 mm arbor, this blade offers a balance of precision and durability for metalworking tasks. Its tooth geometry and material selection are intended to produce clean edges on non-ferrous metals while maintaining blade life under typical workshop conditions.

Advantages

The blade delivers accurate, burr-minimized cuts on aluminum thanks to a tooth design optimized for non-ferrous metals. Its construction emphasizes wear resistance and consistent performance over repeated use. The 16 cm diameter and 2 cm bore allow straightforward mounting on compatible saws, and the blade’s profile reduces vibration to help maintain cut quality.

Suitable for

• Cutting aluminum sheets and profiles
• Trimming non-ferrous metal components for fabrication
• Workshop tasks on portable circular saws and table saws that accept a 16 cm blade
• DIY metalworking projects requiring clean, precise edges

Key specifications

• Diameter: 16 cm
• Bore (arbor) size: 2 cm
• Material compatibility: aluminum and other non-ferrous metals
• Intended use: metal cutting with focus on precision and reduced burr formation

How to use

Install the blade on a saw that supports a 16 cm diameter blade and a 2 cm arbor, following the tool manufacturer’s mounting and safety instructions. Ensure the blade is seated and secured properly before operation and check rotation direction markings. Use appropriate cutting speeds and steady feed rates for aluminum to avoid clogging and overheating. Support the workpiece firmly and keep hands and body clear of the cutting line while the saw is running.

Recommendations

Use cutting fluid or air blow-off to reduce heat and clear chips when cutting thicker aluminum. Wear suitable eye and hearing protection, and follow general safety practices for metal cutting. Regularly inspect the blade for wear, chipping, or damage and replace it when performance declines to maintain cut quality and safety.
