Canon MP Roller Pick-Up

Multi-sheet feeding and paper jams are among the most common frustrations in any busy office or home workspace. The Canon MP Roller Pick-Up (RL1-1802) directly addresses this issue by restoring the printer's ability to feed paper reliably, sheet after sheet. As a genuine OEM replacement part, it is engineered to meet Canon's exact specifications, ensuring seamless integration with your PIXMA MP, MX, MG, and E series printers. Whether you are dealing with a worn-out roller that slips on glossy photo paper or a pick-up mechanism that struggles with thicker media, this roller brings back the precision your printer had on day one.

Who is it for

This pick-up roller is ideal for home users, students, and small office environments that depend on Canon PIXMA printers for everyday document printing, school projects, or occasional photo output. If you have noticed your printer pulling multiple sheets at once, failing to grab paper from the tray, or producing skewed prints, this part is a cost-effective alternative to replacing the entire printer. It is also a smart choice for technicians and refurbishers who service Canon inkjet models and need a reliable, original component for repairs.

Tips

To extend the life of your new pick-up roller, always use paper that is within the recommended weight range for your printer and store it in a dry place to prevent moisture absorption. Clean the roller periodically with a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water (do not use alcohol or solvents) to remove paper dust and debris. If you notice persistent feeding issues after installation, check for any obstructions in the paper path and ensure the roller is seated correctly. For best results, replace the separation pad at the same time if your printer model has one, as worn pads can also contribute to multi-sheet feeding.
