Brytbladskniv Stanley Interlock 9 mm

The Stanley Interlock Snap Off Blade Knife 9 mm is a compact utility knife designed for precise cutting tasks. With a 135 mm overall length and a 9 mm snap-off blade, it provides controlled cutting for materials such as paper, cardboard, vinyl, thin plastics and wallpaper. The knife features a mechanism for quick blade advance and replacement, and a body shaped to offer a secure hold during repetitive or detailed work.

Advantages

The Interlock design secures the blade in place to prevent accidental retraction during use, while the snap-off blade format allows users to expose a fresh cutting edge quickly and safely. Its compact 135 mm size improves maneuverability in confined spaces and reduces hand fatigue during extended tasks. The knife’s construction balances durability with light weight for everyday professional use.

How to use

Hold the knife by the ergonomic handle with your index finger along the spine for control. Extend the blade to the required length using the interlock slider and ensure the blade locks before cutting. Make steady, controlled strokes along the cutting line; for thicker materials use multiple light passes rather than a single heavy cut. When the tip becomes dull, snap off the used segment along the scored line while using the built-in snapper or a designated tool, then advance and lock the next segment into place. Replace the blade when all segments are used or if the blade is damaged.

Recommendations

Use the knife with adequate cutting support such as a cutting mat to protect surfaces. Wear appropriate hand protection when performing heavy-duty cuts and store the knife with the blade retracted. Keep spare 9 mm snap-off blades compatible with the Stanley Interlock design on hand for uninterrupted work.
