Bottenplatta Metabo 624971000 sliptillbehör

The Metabo 624971000 base plate is an accessory designed to fit compatible Metabo sanders, providing a stable interface between the tool and the sanding surface. Constructed from durable materials, the base plate supports consistent sanding pressure and helps achieve an even finish across wood, painted surfaces, and other common materials. The component is intended for straightforward installation and replacement, restoring the sander's handling and flatness after wear or when switching between applications.

Advantages

The replacement base plate restores the original contact surface to maintain uniform abrasive wear and improve sanding quality. Its robust construction resists deformation under normal operating pressure, helping to preserve flatness and reduce vibration transfer. The design supports reliable attachment to the sander to prevent slippage during use and simplifies maintenance by allowing quick replacement when the plate becomes worn.

Suitable for

• Flat sanding of wood and composite panels
• Surface preparation before painting or varnishing
• Removing old finishes and smoothing uneven surfaces
• General DIY and professional sanding tasks requiring a stable base

Key specifications

• Material: durable construction suitable for sustained sanding loads
• Compatibility: intended for use with matching Metabo sanding models
• Mounting: designed for secure attachment to the tool's original fastening points
• Surface: flat contact area to support even abrasive distribution

How to use

Ensure the sander is switched off and disconnected from the power source before fitting the base plate. Remove the worn or existing plate by loosening the tool's fastening elements, align the replacement base plate with the sander's mounting points, and secure it according to the tool manufacturer's tightening instructions. After installation, check that the plate is firmly attached and that the abrasive is correctly positioned before resuming sanding operations.

Recommendations

Use abrasives and operating pressure appropriate for the material being sanded to avoid premature wear of the base plate. Inspect the plate regularly for cracks, excessive wear, or deformation and replace it when surface damage can affect sanding quality or tool safety. Follow the sander manufacturer's guidance for torque settings and maintenance intervals to ensure consistent performance.
