Bosch 2 608 900 450 borrtillbehör 1 st

The Bosch 2 608 900 450 power drill accessory is a tough-material hole saw designed for tradesmen who need reliable hole cutting in wood and mixed materials. Fitted with carbide teeth, it maintains cutting performance when it encounters metal fasteners such as nails or screws, enabling clean, repeatable holes without frequent tooth damage.

Advantages

Carbide-tipped teeth reduce wear and allow the hole saw to cut through mixed materials and occasional metal obstructions with minimal slowing. The design provides cleaner cuts and longer lifetime compared with standard hole saws, helping to avoid the common problem of torn teeth and incomplete holes when striking hardened metal.

Suitable for

• Cutting holes in wood and wood-based materials
• Drilling through mixed material panels where occasional nails or screws may be present
• General trade and construction site use where durability is required

How to use

Fit the hole saw to a compatible power drill according to the drill and arbor manufacturer instructions. Mark the hole centre on the workpiece, secure the workpiece to prevent movement, and start drilling at low speed to establish a guide. Apply steady pressure and maintain a consistent speed, increasing if the drill and material allow. If you encounter metal fasteners, continue with controlled pressure; the carbide teeth are designed to cut through such obstructions without rapid wear.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye and ear protection, gloves) and secure workpieces. Select a drill with sufficient power and torque for the hole diameter and material. Inspect the hole saw before use and replace it if carbide teeth are damaged.
