BlueOptics SRCABLE3M InfiniBand fiberoptisk kabel 3 m LC aqua

The BlueOptics SRCABLE3M InfiniBand fibre optic cable 3 m LC Aqua is a multimode OM3 cable designed for high-speed, short-range data transmission in networking and data centre environments. With LC Aqua connectors and a 3 metre length, this cable supports dense networking layouts and connects InfiniBand devices with low insertion loss and consistent performance. The OM3 fibre core diameter of 125 µm provides enhanced bandwidth for applications requiring fast, reliable links.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable offers stable signal integrity and low attenuation, suitable for high-density racks and switch-to-switch or server-to-switch connections. The LC Aqua connectors ensure standardized coupling with compatible transceivers and patch panels, while the 3 m length balances flexibility and tidy cable management. The cable construction supports low crosstalk and consistent performance over the supported distances for multimode networks.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand interconnects in server and storage networks
• High-speed links between switches and routers in data centres
• Patch panel to switch or transceiver connections in structured cabling
• Short to medium multimode fibre runs within equipment racks

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode OM3
• Connector type: LC duplex (Aqua)
• Length: 3 metres
• Core diameter: 125 µm
• Polish/type: Standard multimode polished fibre
• Typical use: Short-range high-bandwidth multimode links

How to use

Route the cable through cable management channels or cable trays to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Align the LC connectors with the corresponding ports on InfiniBand adapters, switches or transceivers and insert until the latch clicks into place. Verify link status on connected devices and, if needed, label both ends for identification. To disconnect, press the connector latch and withdraw straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Maintain bend radii recommended for multimode fibre, avoid tensile loads on the cable, and keep connector endfaces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating to prevent signal degradation. Use the 3 m length for in-rack connections and short patching; for longer runs, select a cable rated for the required distance and application.
