Bildram Franken BS1702 silver

The Franken BS1702 Silver picture frame is a slim, matte silver frame made from durable aluminum. With external dimensions of 346 mm width, 16 mm depth and 469 mm height, this frame is designed to present photographs, prints or small posters with a minimal, contemporary border. The construction uses lightweight aluminum for rigidity and ease of handling, while the matte finish reduces glare and provides a neutral visual surround for artwork.

Advantages

The aluminum construction ensures strength and low weight, allowing the frame to be moved or mounted without strain. The matte silver surface offers a subdued metallic look that complements a wide range of interior palettes and image styles. Its shallow depth keeps the framed piece close to the wall for a neat, streamlined appearance. The frame is supplied as a single unit ready for immediate use.

Suitable for

• Presenting small posters or graphic prints
• Office walls, living rooms, corridors and reception areas

How to use

Remove the backing and insert your print, photograph or certificate so it sits flush within the frame rebate. Replace the backing and secure any fasteners provided to hold the contents in place. For wall mounting, use appropriate fixtures for the wall type and the combined weight of the frame and contents; the frame’s lightweight aluminum construction means common picture hooks or screws are typically sufficient. Clean the outer frame surface with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the matte appearance.

Recommendations

To avoid reflections and protect sensitive prints, consider using museum or UV-filtering glazing where long-term preservation is required. When hanging, measure and mark mounting points precisely to ensure the frame is level and aligned with surrounding decor.
