Basstation Yealink WH62 extra DECT-bas svart

The Yealink WH62 Additional DECT Base Black expands DECT coverage and headset capacity in office environments. Designed to work with Yealink WH62 headsets and compatible DECT handsets, this additional base station provides a stable wireless connection, simplified deployment and consistent audio performance across a multi-base setup. The compact black housing supports straightforward placement on desks or in communication cabinets while maintaining a discreet professional appearance.

Advantages

The additional DECT base extends the wireless range and increases the number of concurrent headset connections available in a single system without requiring complex reconfiguration. It integrates with Yealink DECT networks to deliver stable call quality, low latency audio and simplified handover between bases. Installation requires minimal cabling and supports centralized power and network distribution for tidy office setups.

Suitable for

• Expanding wireless headset coverage across open-plan offices
• Increasing concurrent user capacity in call centers and reception areas
• Creating multi-base DECT deployments for larger office floors
• Integrating with existing Yealink DECT infrastructure for redundancy and load distribution

Key specifications

• Form factor: desktop/desktop-mountable base station with compact black enclosure
• Wireless technology: DECT radio for secure voice transmission
• Connectivity: network interface and power input for centralized deployment (PoE support if provided by system)
• Multi-base support: designed to operate as an additional base in a multi-base DECT network
• Audio performance: engineered for low-latency, stable voice transmission in office environments
• Physical characteristics: lightweight housing suitable for desk, wall or cabinet placement

How to use

Install the additional DECT base by mounting it in the desired location and connecting its network and power interfaces according to your network layout. Register compatible Yealink WH62 headsets or DECT handsets to the base following the provided registration procedure to expand user capacity. If multiple bases are used, verify base-to-base placement and overlap to ensure reliable roaming and handover across the coverage area. Use the device management tools or the administration interface of your Yealink solution to monitor registrations and radio performance.

Recommendations

Place additional bases to provide overlapping DECT coverage while avoiding physical obstructions and strong RF sources; maintain sufficient distance between bases to prevent co-channel interference. For best results, integrate the base into an existing Yealink DECT deployment and use centralized power/network distribution where available.
