ARCTIC P8 - Tryckoptimerad 80 mm-fläkt

The ARCTIC P8 Pressure-optimised 80 mm is a compact cooling fan designed for efficient airflow in constrained spaces. It operates at 12 V, measures 80 mm x 25 mm and comes in black. The fan uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) for improved durability and consistent performance while delivering a maximum rotational speed of 3000 RPM, an airflow of 39.76 m³/h and an air pressure up to 1.9 mmH2O with a low noise level of 0.3 sone.

Advantages

The pressure-optimised blade geometry provides effective airflow in tight installations, and the FDB increases service life and reduces friction-related noise. With a compact 80 mm form factor and a maximum 3000 RPM speed, the fan balances cooling capacity and size, making it suitable where space is limited and targeted air pressure is required.

Suitable for

• Small PC cases and compact builds
• Cooling for tight airflow channels and heat sinks
• Enclosures and electronics with limited internal space

How to use

Install the ARCTIC P8 in the intended fan slot or mounting location using compatible screws and orientation that directs airflow toward the component or area to be cooled. Connect the fan to a compatible 12 V header or controller on the motherboard or fan controller, ensuring secure connector seating. Verify rotation and airflow direction after powering the system and monitor for normal operation and acceptable noise levels.

Recommendations

Position the fan to maximise directed airflow through restricted channels or across heatsinks; avoid obstructing intake or exhaust paths. For quieter operation, consider PWM control via a compatible controller or motherboard header and maintain periodic cleaning to prevent dust buildup that reduces efficiency.
