Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 kylblock

The Alphacool NexXxos ST30 heatsink is a full-copper-design water-cooling radiator engineered for use in PC liquid cooling loops. It combines copper chambers and fins with a compact 30 mm thickness to provide efficient heat dissipation in a slim form factor. The unit measures approximately 124 mm wide, 552 mm deep and 30 mm high, weighs 1.226 kg and comes in a black finish. Built for compatibility with both 120 mm and 140 mm fans, the ST30 targets applications where space is limited but reliable radiator performance is required.

Advantages

The NexXxos ST30 uses copper chambers and fins to improve thermal transfer compared with radiators that use mixed materials. Separate flow chambers direct coolant efficiently and support high flow rates, while flat chambers and a reduced overall length increase mounting flexibility. The design includes multiple fitting positions on inlet and outlet ports (except on the ST30 where fitting options differ), an internal protective ledge to prevent screw damage to fins, and standard M3 threaded holes for easy fan and grill installation. Fin spacing is optimized for good performance with low- and medium-speed fans, helping to reduce noise while keeping fan options flexible.

Suitable for

• Compact PC builds requiring a slim (30 mm) radiator
• Custom water-cooling loops where copper radiators are preferred
• Setups using 120 mm or 140 mm fans
• Enclosures with limited internal clearance

How to use

Install the NexXxos ST30 into your PC liquid-cooling loop according to your case layout and cooling plan. Mount fans to the radiator using the standard M3 threaded holes and secure fittings to the inlet/outlet ports; take into account the available fitting positions and any limitations specific to the ST30 variant. Use the threaded opening for de-aeration or filling if required and ensure all connections are tightened to prevent leaks. After assembly, perform leak testing and bleed the loop to remove trapped air before regular operation.

Recommendations

Use low- to medium-speed 120 mm or 140 mm fans to take advantage of the radiator’s fin design for efficient cooling with reduced noise. When mounting in tight spaces, plan hose routing to use the available fitting positions and avoid excessive fitting angles to maintain good flow. Follow standard liquid-cooling maintenance: check fittings periodically and re-bleed the loop if performance decreases.
