AOC: copper and glass for longer distances and the best video and audio quality
The AOC (Active Optical Cable) cable is made of copper and fiber for transferring 8K @ 60Hz over long distances up to 100m without data loss. It has a bandwidth of 40Gbps 4:4:4, also called UHBR10 DP 40.

The cable has a Kevlar protected fiber, an aluminium foiled shielding and is suitable for sensitive applications due to low RFI/EMI. The cable is supplied in a box.

No additional power is needed. The cable supports 3.3V over the full length.

Resolution of 8K @ 60Hz
This 8K DisplayPort cable supports a resolution of 7680x4320 @ 60Hz. Furthermore, the cable supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) video for expansive contrast ratio and color accuracy, HDCP 2.2, EDID, Multi-channel audio, Dolby True HD, and DTS-HD Master Audio.

LSZH
The cable has a LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cable jacket that reduces the risk of high concentrations of toxic gases in case the cable is damaged due to fire or short circuit.

Additional features
It is important that the cable is connected correctly. The ACT AOC DisplayPort 2.1 cable is marked to ensure easy identification of the source and display connector. The snap-in connector ensures a reliable connection without the risk of accidental disconnection.

User scenarios
Medical applications: High-resolution imaging is critical in radiology for detailed diagnosis. The 8K DisplayPort 2.1 DP40 UHBR10 cable is used to connect imaging equipment to large displays. The low RFI/EMI minimizes interference with sensitive medical devices.

Nautical applications: The vessel's bridge uses high-definition displays for navigation, radar, and other critical systems. Facilitates connections between equipment located in different parts of the vessel without signal loss. The Kevlar protected fiber offers durability and reliability in harsh marine environments.

Data center applications: Data centers require high-resolution displays for monitoring system performance and security. The LSZH jacket ensures safety by reducing toxic gas emissions in case of a fire.

Educational applications in lecture halls and auditoriums: Provides clear and detailed visuals for large audiences. Long Distance Capability: Enables connection from the control room to displays across large spaces.

Corporate applications in meeting rooms and conference centers: Executive meeting rooms and conference centers require high-definition displays for video conferencing, presentations, and collaborative work.

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort male connector to the source device (graphics card, media player, or other DisplayPort output) and the other DisplayPort male connector to the display. The cable is keyed and marked to indicate source and display ends; ensure correct orientation before inserting. The snap-in DisplayPort connectors provide a secure fit. No external power supply is required; the cable carries 3.3V along its length. For best results, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable protected from mechanical stress.

Recommendations

Use the marked ends to ensure correct connection orientation, avoid tight bends and kinking, and secure the cable to prevent mechanical strain. For installations in sensitive or safety-critical environments, prefer the LSZH version and consider strain relief at connector points.
