Tejp Scotch 4201 20 m

Scotch 4201 20 m is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape designed for general-purpose bonding and surface protection. With a 20 metre length, 50 mm width and 0.12 mm thickness, this white tape delivers a clean finish and reliable hold on a variety of materials. Manufactured by 3M, it is intended for routine tasks in homes, offices and light industrial settings where a discreet, durable adhesive is required.

Advantages

The tape combines a thin, conformable backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that provides strong initial tack and sustained adhesion. Its white appearance masks underlying surfaces and gives a neat look when applied. The 50 mm width balances coverage and control, while the 20 m roll length reduces the need for frequent replacements. The material resists minor moisture and handling abrasion, contributing to longer-lasting applications compared with standard craft tapes.

Key specifications

• Length: 20 m
• Width: 50 mm
• Thickness: 0.12 mm
• Color: white
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive (permanent tack)
• Backing: thin, conformable film
• Suitable surface temperature range: typical room temperatures (for best adhesion)

How to use

Ensure the application surface is clean, dry and free of dust, grease and loose particles. Measure and cut the needed length, then apply the tape with even pressure to establish full contact between the adhesive and the surface. For stronger bonds, press along the tape edge with a roller or a flat tool. To remove, peel slowly at a low angle to minimise residue; for stubborn adhesive remnants, use a compatible solvent or adhesive remover following the material manufacturer’s guidance.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high humidity. For critical or long-term applications, test adhesion on a small area first to confirm compatibility with the substrate and conditions. Avoid use on very rough, heavily textured or oily surfaces where bonding performance may be reduced.
