3D-pussel Ravensburger solsystemet

The Ravensburger 3D Puzzle Planetary Solar System is a set of eight interlocking three-dimensional puzzles that recreate the planets of our solar system at a reduced scale. The set contains a total of 522 curved plastic pieces, distributed across eight planet models with varying piece counts so planet sizes are represented proportionally. Each planet includes an individual stand and the full set can be displayed on the included colourful solar system poster or suspended by thread. The pack also contains parts to construct a sun mobile and an information leaflet with facts about each planet. Pieces are numbered on the reverse to allow assembly either visually or by following numbers; no glue is required.

Advantages

The 3D Puzzle uses durable, curved plastic pieces that slot together securely to form sturdy spherical models. Numbered pieces simplify the build process for children and adults, reducing frustration and supporting independent assembly. The set’s multiple piece counts reflect planetary size differences, offering an educational visual scale. Included display options — stands, poster and suspension thread — provide flexible presentation choices for home, classroom or exhibition settings.

Suitable for

• Hands-on learning about the solar system
• STEM education activities and classroom demonstrations
• Family puzzle sessions and independent construction for children aged 6 and up
• Decorative science displays and educational exhibits

Key specifications

• Total pieces: 522 curved plastic pieces across 8 planet models
• Planet piece distribution: two planets with 108 pieces, two with 72 pieces, two with 54 pieces, two with 27 pieces
• Overall assembled width: approximately 273 mm for the assembled display when arranged as shown on the poster
• Overall assembled height: approximately 68 mm for the assembled display when arranged as shown on the poster
• Materials: high-quality printed plastic puzzle pieces and plastic stands; thread included for hanging
• Assembly: interlocking pieces, numbered on the inside, no glue required

How to use

Sort the puzzles by piece count and follow the printed numbers on the reverse of each piece if you prefer stepwise assembly. Fit the curved plastic pieces together to form each spherical planet, then mount each finished planet on its individual stand or attach thread to suspend from a ceiling or mobile frame. Use the included poster and information leaflet to arrange the planets in order and to review planetary facts while assembling. Allow children to work with supervision as needed, especially when attaching hanging thread or small parts.

Recommendations

Recommended for ages 6 and up. Provide a clear, flat workspace and good lighting during assembly. Keep the numbered leaflet and poster handy to check planet order and facts. For classroom use, consider splitting the build across sessions and assigning different planets to small groups to promote collaborative learning.
