Silicon is an element that supports skin, hair and nail health and assists in transporting and storing minerals in the body. Because the body does not produce silicon, it must be supplied daily through food and fluids. Silicate + Magnesium Mineralised Water increases the silicate content of drinking water by approximately 30–40 mg/l and, at an average water hardness of 15–18 °dH, 2.5 litres of this mineralised water can supply up to 10% of the daily magnesium requirement. This product offers a convenient way to support mineral intake by simply drinking water.

Advantages

Silicon stimulates collagen formation, contributes to the body’s water balance, and increases enzyme activity in the skin. It supports connective tissue and helps accelerate calcium deposition in bones. The mineralised water also contributes to the body’s ability to eliminate aluminium. The cartridge provides mineral enrichment without the need to swallow tablets, fitting easily into everyday routines.

Suitable for

• Households seeking mineral-enriched drinking water
• People aiming to support skin, hair and nail health
• Users who prefer mineral intake via beverages rather than supplements
• Offices and shared spaces requiring an ongoing supply of improved-tasting water

Key specifications

• Contains natural silicates and magnesium for mineralising drinking water
• Increases silicate content by approximately 30–40 mg per litre (at average water hardness 15–18 °dH)
• 2.5 litres of mineralised water can provide up to 10% of daily magnesium needs
• Pack quantity: 3 cartridges
• Intended use: mineralisation of drinking water in compatible filter systems

How to use

Install the cartridge into a compatible BWT water filter system according to the filter system’s installation instructions. When first using a new cartridge, discard the first 2–3 litres of filtered water until the water is clear, as harmless particles from natural silicates and minerals can cause temporary cloudiness. After initial flushing, use the mineralised water for regular drinking and hydration.

Recommendations

Do not ingest the initial cloudy water; discard the first 2–3 litres after installing a new cartridge. The turbidity is harmless and caused by natural material abrasion during transport. For consistent results, follow the compatible filter system’s maintenance schedule and replace cartridges as recommended.
