Temperatursensor TOMTOM Webfleet Temp Sensor - ColdChain för fordonsflottövervakning

The TOMTOM Webfleet Temp Sensor - ColdChain is a compact temperature monitoring device designed for integration with Webfleet fleet management platforms. It measures and transmits real-time temperature data from vehicle cabins and cargo compartments, enabling continuous tracking of thermal conditions during transport. The sensor supports cold chain workflows by providing remote monitoring, temperature logging and threshold-based alerting to help maintain compliance and protect temperature-sensitive goods.

Advantages

The sensor offers continuous real-time temperature reporting compatible with Webfleet, enabling centralized visibility across a vehicle fleet. Its design focuses on reliable measurement within cargo areas and straightforward integration into existing fleet telematics, reducing the need for manual checks. The device supports configurable alerts for excursions outside predefined temperature ranges, improving traceability and record-keeping for audits and regulatory requirements.

Suitable for

• Transport of perishable food products that require controlled temperatures
• Pharmaceutical and medical shipments with cold chain requirements
• Dairy, meat and seafood logistics
• Fleet operators requiring remote temperature monitoring and compliance evidence

Key specifications

• Temperature measurement: continuous monitoring with remote reporting to Webfleet
• Integration: designed for seamless connection with TOMTOM Webfleet fleet management platform
• Alerting: configurable temperature threshold alerts and notifications
• Data logging: supports recorded temperature history for traceability and audits
• Mounting: compact form factor suitable for vehicle cabins and cargo compartments

How to use

Install the temperature sensor in the cargo area or cabin where representative temperature readings are required, following vehicle-specific mounting guidelines. Connect and configure the device within the Webfleet platform so that measurement intervals, reporting frequency and alert thresholds match the requirements of your cold chain operation. Verify communication and initial readings, then confirm that alerts and logging are active in Webfleet to ensure continuous monitoring during transport.

Recommendations

Place the sensor away from direct airflow of refrigeration vents or heat sources to obtain stable, representative readings. Regularly check connection status and synchronize device settings in Webfleet when route, cargo type or regulatory requirements change. Retain logged temperature records for the duration required by your quality or regulatory framework.
