Tätning KS Tools 970.0140 vikt 790 g

The KS Tools 970.0140 gasket is a durable sealing component designed for reliable leak prevention in automotive and industrial assemblies. With a mass of 790 g, this gasket is engineered to provide a consistent compression seal between mating surfaces, helping to maintain fluid and gas containment under normal operating conditions. The design focuses on fit accuracy and material resilience to support long service life in typical workshop environments.

Advantages

This gasket offers stable sealing performance and resistance to common operational stresses. Its construction delivers consistent contact pressure across the sealing surface to reduce the likelihood of leaks and minimize the need for frequent replacements. The product's weight and dimensional stability contribute to easier handling during installation and improved alignment with mating parts.

Suitable for

• Automotive engine and transmission assemblies where a reliable seal is required
• Industrial machinery housings and covers
• Maintenance and repair tasks in workshops and service centers

Key specifications

• Material: engineered sealing material suitable for mechanical assemblies
• Weight: 790 g
• Function: static seal between mating surfaces to prevent fluid or gas leakage
• Compatibility: designed for applications requiring a gasket matching its form factor and sealing characteristics
• Durability: designed for repeated clamping cycles and resistance to typical workshop environments

How to use

Ensure both mating surfaces are clean, dry, and free of old gasket material, oil, or debris before installation. Position the gasket accurately on the prepared surface, aligning any holes or cutouts with corresponding dowels or fasteners. Tighten fasteners in a cross-pattern to the manufacturer's specified torque values to achieve even compression of the gasket material. After assembly, check for leaks during initial operation and retorque fasteners if required by the equipment manufacturer.

Recommendations

Store the gasket flat in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and solvents. Do not reuse a gasket that shows signs of deformation, tearing, or surface damage. When selecting a gasket for a specific application, verify compatibility with the operating temperatures, media (fluids or gases), and pressure conditions of the system.
