Strömtransformator Milesight CT310-868M LoRaWAN 1000A

The Milesight CT310-868M LoRaWAN 1000A current transformer is a wireless sensor designed for remote monitoring of alternating current (AC) in electrical installations. It provides non-invasive current measurement up to 1000 A and transmits measured data over LoRaWAN networks for integration with energy-management platforms and IoT monitoring systems. The device is intended for continuous monitoring, metering and detection of overloads in commercial, industrial and utility environments.

Advantages

The CT310-868M offers long-range wireless connectivity through LoRaWAN, enabling data transmission from locations without wired infrastructure. Its split-core design simplifies installation on live conductors without system downtime. The transformer delivers accurate current sensing up to 1000 A, supporting real-time monitoring and historical data collection for energy analysis. Low power consumption and compatibility with standard LoRaWAN networks reduce operational complexity and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Remote current monitoring in industrial panels and switchgear
• Energy management and consumption analysis for commercial buildings
• Overload detection and preventive maintenance systems
• Integration with IoT platforms and SCADA via LoRaWAN gateways

Key specifications

• Measurement range: up to 1000 A AC
• Output type: LoRaWAN wireless transmission
• Power: low-power operation suitable for battery or low-energy deployments
• Construction: split-core form factor for clamp-on installation
• Frequency compatibility: designed for LoRaWAN networks in the 868 MHz band
• Operating environment: intended for indoor electrical cabinets and protected outdoor installations

How to use

Install the CT310-868M by opening the split-core clamp, placing it around the target conductor and closing the core to ensure a secure fit. Configure the device on a LoRaWAN network through the network server or the Milesight provisioning tool, assigning the appropriate data reporting intervals and device identifiers within your monitoring platform. Position the transformer within radio range of a LoRaWAN gateway and verify successful uplink messages. Use the received current data for metering, alarm thresholds for overload detection and trend analysis in your energy management system.

Recommendations

Place the sensor on individual phase conductors rather than multi-conductor cables to ensure correct current measurement. Keep the device inside electrical cabinets or under protective covers to avoid exposure to direct weather conditions. Regularly check wireless link quality and battery or power status if used in battery-backed configurations to maintain reliable data transmission.
