Rundstavsplugg KWB 028200 Diameter 1 cm Längd 4 cm

Wood Dowels Round KWB 028200 Diameter 1 cm Length 4 cm are ribbed, chamfered beechwood dowels designed for joinery and general woodworking. Manufactured by KWB, these solid wooden dowels provide accurate alignment and added glue surface for reliable connections in furniture assembly, repairs, and small constructions.

Advantages

Ribbed profile increases glue retention and mechanical grip, while chamfered ends ease insertion into drilled holes. Made of beechwood for consistent strength and dimensional stability, these dowels offer uniform diameter (1 cm) and length (4 cm) for repeatable results. The product is suitable for workshop and hobby use and is compatible with standard dowel drills and jigs.

How to use

Drill holes of matching diameter and depth in the mating workpieces, apply suitable wood glue to the dowel or hole, insert the ribbed dowel with light pressure until the chamfered end seats, and clamp the assembly until the adhesive cures. Ensure holes are aligned and debris-free for a tight fit. For repeated or precision work, use a dowelling jig or template to maintain consistent spacing and alignment.

Recommendations

Store dowels in a dry environment to prevent moisture-related swelling or shrinkage. Use an appropriate wood adhesive and allow full cure time before stressing the joint. Select dowel diameter and length according to material thickness and load requirements.
