Marshall Origin20 head - 20W rörförstärkare

Strip away the digital clutter and rediscover the soul of rock with the Marshall Origin20 Head. This 20-watt all-valve amplifier head is a tribute to the golden era of British tone, built around a classic EL34 power section and ECC83 preamp tubes. Unlike modern modelling amps that simulate vintage character, the Origin20 Head delivers the real thing—organic, touch-sensitive overdrive that responds to every nuance of your playing. Whether you're chasing bell-like cleans or aggressive crunch, this head puts pure valve tone front and centre.

Highlights

• All-valve design: 3 x ECC83 preamp tubes and 2 x EL34 power tubes for rich, harmonically complex tone.
• Power scaling: switch between High (20W), Mid (3W), and Low (0.5W) to achieve cranked-amp sound at manageable volumes.
• Tilt control: blends between normal and high treble voicings for versatile tonal shaping.
• Series effects loop: easily integrate your pedalboard or rack effects without compromising signal integrity.
• Includes PEDL-90016 footswitch for gain boost and effects loop on/off.

In daily use

The Origin20 Head excels at everything from clean, bell-like tones to aggressive, saturated crunch. The Tilt control is a standout feature, allowing you to morph the amp's character from a smooth, mid-focused voice to a brighter, more cutting sound with a single knob. The power scaling is a game-changer for home and studio use: at 0.5W, you can push the output stage into natural overdrive without rattling the windows. The included footswitch makes live performance seamless, letting you boost gain for solos or engage the effects loop on the fly. With its simple control layout—Gain, Tilt, Bass, Middle, Treble, Master, Presence, and Output Volume—you'll spend less time tweaking and more time playing.
