Kylbox Campingaz Icetime Plus 30L

Thick, premium PU insulation minimizes cooling loss and preserves interior capacity. Tests indicate cooling loss occurs significantly through the lid and base; this model increases insulation in those areas while reducing side insulation to keep external dimensions smaller without sacrificing storage volume. The cooler uses high-quality polyurethane insulation, with up to 30% more insulation material for improved thermal retention. The design includes a lip on the lid that locks into the case to create a secure seal and a click-and-lock mechanism that audibly confirms when the lid is closed. Hinged lids and a wide top opening allow quick and easy filling, while the bail-style handle snaps behind the lid for compact transport. The lid is angled to prevent the cooler from tipping backward whether empty or full.

Advantages

The enhanced PU insulation focuses on the lid and base to reduce heat transfer and maintain interior temperature longer while keeping exterior size compact. The click-and-lock lid provides a reliable sealed closure that helps preserve cooling performance. Hinged lids, a wide opening and a rear-secure handle improve usability, enabling easier loading and stable placement on uneven surfaces. The lid angle prevents backward tipping in both empty and loaded conditions.

Key specifications

• Insulation material: polyurethane (PU)
• Insulation distribution: increased in lid and base, reduced on sides
• Cooling loss distribution (test): significant through lid and base (~30% each)
• Lid mechanism: click-and-lock with sealing lip
• Lid type: hinged with wide opening
• Handle: bail-style that snaps behind the lid for compact transport

How to use

Close the lid until the click confirms the seal to ensure optimal insulation performance. Use the wide top opening to fill the cooler quickly with ice and contents. When transporting, snap the bail-style handle behind the lid to reduce the cooler’s profile and carry securely. Place the cooler on a stable surface; the angled lid helps keep it upright whether empty or full.

Recommendations

For best cooling performance, pre-chill the cooler if possible, close the lid firmly until the click is heard, and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Regularly check the lid seal and handle engagement before use.
