Hager SRI06005 ringkärnströmtransformator 600/5A 5VA klass 1

Accurate current measurement is the foundation of reliable energy monitoring and power management. The Hager SRI06005 ring-type current transformer converts high primary currents up to 600 A into a safe, standardised 5 A secondary signal, enabling precise metering and protection in low-voltage distribution systems. With a Class 1 accuracy and 5 VA burden, it ensures dependable performance for commercial and industrial applications.

Who is it for

This current transformer is ideal for electrical engineers, panel builders, and facility managers who need to integrate current measurement into energy meters, power analyzers, or protection relays. It suits installations where a 600 A primary circuit must be monitored without interrupting the conductor, thanks to its ring-type (Durchsteckwandler) design. The 30 mm inner diameter accommodates large cables or busbars, making it versatile for retrofit and new builds.

Tips

Ensure the conductor passes through the centre opening without sharp bends. For best accuracy, centre the conductor and keep secondary leads as short as possible. When mounting on a DIN rail, allow adequate space for ventilation and future maintenance. Always verify the burden of connected instruments does not exceed 5 VA to maintain Class 1 accuracy.
