Fiberkabel ProXtend SC-SC UPC OM1 duplex 3M

The ProXtend SC-SC UPC OM1 Duplex 3M fiber cable is a 3-meter multimode patch cable with a 62.5 µm glass core, LSZH jacket and SC male connectors on both ends. It supports full-duplex singlemode and multimode communication and is designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in local area networks and other short-to-medium distance links.

Advantages

This OM1 duplex fiber cable provides stable full-duplex transmission and low signal loss thanks to its transparent glass core and UPC-polished SC connectors. The LSZH outer jacket reduces hazardous smoke if exposed to fire and the cable is rated to operate across a temperature range from -20°C to 70°C, ensuring durability in a variety of installation environments.

Suitable for

• LAN backbone and horizontal cabling in offices and data centers
• Interconnecting switches, patch panels and fiber transceivers
• Short to medium distance multimode links (OM1, 62.5 µm core)

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC male — SC male (UPC)
• Fiber type: Multimode OM1, core diameter 62.5 µm
• Configuration: Duplex (full duplex)
• Length: 3 m
• Outer jacket: LSZH
• Operating temperature: -20 °C to 70 °C
• Brand / MPN / EAN: ProXtend / FO-SCSCOM1D-003 / 5714590107845

How to use

Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks. Ensure matching of multimode OM1 ports on both ends and verify full-duplex operation by testing the link with appropriate network test equipment. Secure the cable along trays or cable management to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector endfaces clean and use dust caps when the cable is not connected. Use this OM1 62.5 µm duplex cable for legacy multimode installations or where OM1 performance is sufficient; for higher bandwidth or longer multimode distances consider OM3/OM4 alternatives.
