Datorchassi Silverstone Technology SST-SG16W Mini-ITX vit

The Silverstone Technology SST-SG16W Mini-ITX white is a compact desktop computer case designed for small form-factor builds. Constructed from steel and plastic, the SG16W balances sturdiness with a lightweight footprint and fits Mini-ITX motherboards. The case supports standard ATX power supplies and provides connectivity through front-panel USB 3.0 ports. Its layout accommodates both 2.5" and 3.5" drives and includes space for PCIe expansion, making it suitable for a range of basic to moderately demanding home and office systems.

Advantages

The SG16W offers a compact enclosure that conserves desk space while maintaining compatibility with full-size ATX power supplies. Its steel and plastic construction delivers reliable protection for internal components without excessive weight. Multiple fan mounting points allow installation of up to four fans to improve airflow and thermal performance. Front-panel USB 3.0 ports provide fast external connectivity for peripherals and storage devices. Internal drive bays support both 2.5" and 3.5" drives, enabling flexible storage configurations.

Suitable for

• Home and office Mini-ITX desktop builds
• Compact media or HTPC systems
• Small workstations where desk space is limited
• Systems requiring a standard ATX power supply in a small chassis

Key specifications

• Form factor: Mini-ITX motherboard support
• Material: Steel chassis with plastic panels
• Power supply compatibility: Standard ATX power supply
• Drive support: 2.5" and 3.5" drive bays
• Cooling: Supports up to four case fans for airflow optimization

How to use

Install a Mini-ITX motherboard into the case using the included standoffs, then mount a compatible ATX power supply in the designated compartment. Secure storage drives in the appropriate 2.5" or 3.5" bays and connect them to the motherboard. Install any required PCIe expansion cards into the expansion slot(s). Fit case fans where desired to achieve the preferred airflow configuration and connect them to the motherboard or fan controller. Connect front-panel USB 3.0 and power/reset cables to the motherboard headers and ensure all internal cables are routed to maintain unobstructed airflow.

Recommendations

For effective thermal performance, use a combination of intake and exhaust fans and avoid blocking ventilation openings. Choose low-profile CPU coolers and compact expansion cards if building a high-performance Mini-ITX system to ensure compatibility with the internal layout. Regularly check cable routing and dust accumulation to maintain airflow and component longevity.
