Corning Cable Systems fiberoptisk skarvmuff S45754-A3-A16

Managing fiber optic splices in outdoor and indoor environments requires a closure that protects connections from moisture, dust, and mechanical stress. The Corning S45754-A3-A16 is a compact inline splice closure that seals and organizes up to 24 single-fiber splices, keeping them secure in aerial, duct, buried, or wall-mounted installations.

Who is it for

This closure is built for telecom technicians and network installers who need a reliable, IP68-rated enclosure for FTTH, access, or distribution networks. It suits both outdoor plant and indoor applications where space is limited but protection is critical.

Main features

• Inline compact design with three cable entry ports, accepting main cables up to 10 mm diameter.
• Splice capacity for up to 24 single fibers, typically organized on two 12-splice trays.
• Mechanical sealing via gasket and clamp ensures a watertight, re-enterable closure without special tools.
• UV-stabilized thermoplastic housing withstands harsh weather and sunlight, with IK08 impact resistance.
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +65°C, suitable for extreme climates.
• Dielectric strength greater than 20 kV, providing electrical isolation in hybrid networks.
