How to use

Place the spirit level on the surface to be checked, ensuring full contact along the reference edge. Read the position of the bubble in the appropriate vial to determine whether the surface is level or plumb. For greater accuracy, rotate the level 180° and repeat the measurement; if the bubble centers in the same position, the tool is calibrated correctly. Use steady pressure and avoid flexing the profile while measuring.

Recommendations

Store the spirit level in a dry environment and avoid impacts that could damage the vials or deform the aluminum profile. Clean the reference edge before use to ensure accurate readings. For precision work over longer spans, combine the 400 mm level with longer straightedges or laser levels as needed.
